Media Pembelajaran Matematika Interaktif untuk Siswa Tunarungu: Perancangan dan Validasi

Abstract

This research was aimed to: (1) know the
characteristics of multimedia learning materials the area of plane
for students SMPLB B Tunarungu; (2) to know the validity and
practicality of multimedia interacive learning material the area of
plane. This type of research is development research, with the 4-D
model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate
stage, but in this research limited to develop stage. Data collection
in this research used by questionnaire and diary. The data
obtained are then analyzed qualitatively, descriptive quantitative.
The result of the research shows that the learning multimedia
developed has characteristics (1) the developed multimedia
learning is interactive, (2) there are pictures and animations that
can visualize math objects, (3) using simple language according to
the characteristics of deaf children and there is a sign language
video, (4) multimedia learning is hierarchical. The result of this
research shows that the developed media was fulfill the valid
criteria with an average score from the expert of learning is 27
with good criteria, the average score from the expert of material is
28 with good criteria, the average score form the expert of
learning design is 28 with good criteria, and the average score
from the expert of Language is 28 with good criteria. The
developed media was also fulfill the practical criteria with a total
average score of student’s responses questionnaires is 66,5 with
very good criteria, and the total average score of teacher’s
responses questionnaires is 91 with very good criteria. Based on
the results of research that has been obtained, the developed media
learning has a good qualification and worthy to used in the
learning process of the area of plane.
