Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of integrated science learning module’s development to increase the values of character and science literacy of junior high school students. Research subjects include science curriculum of junior high school and science teachers of SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar. Research objects include basic competence of science subjects, relevant topics or materials to be integrated in integrated science learning, student character values, student science literacy and various teacher constraints in implementing science lessons, especially science-integrated integrated approaches. The data of this study were compiled collected through literature studies, listings and interviews. The results of research related to the analyze the needs that is required science modules with content presented in an integrated and scientific approach in order to improve students' character values and science literacy students.
