Abstract

The character building is one of the national education aims. The purpose of study are to produce a character education model based on Tri Kaya Parisudha that can be integrated in learning. The model was developed through research and development at the Elementary School in Buleleng Sub-district. The research procedure includes four stages: 1) preliminary study, 2) drafting the initial design of the model 3) developing the model, and 4) evaluation and dissemination. Characteristics of the resulting model are: 1) Consist of input, process, and output, 2) The model focuses on three core characters, namely: good thinking (Manacika), good words (Wacika), and good behavior (Manacika), 2) The character values are developed on each core characters. In the core of thinking good includes the value of the character of positive thinking, religious value, and belief in the law of cause and effect, the core character says good, includes the value of being polite, honest, while the core of good includes the value of affection, honest, and discipline. Model implemented in integrated learning, 3) Model implemented in learning through habituation and exemplary.
