Abstract

The problem of waste becomes a problem that has not been the right solution. Especially plastic waste that takes a very long time to be decomposed. Conditions in the community that do not have the technology that can process environmental waste contaminated with the increasing amount of waste. The current condition of plastic recycling machines cost hundreds of millions. The required machine that herganya affordable but functioning with the existing machines in the market. This research created Hot Press machine for HDPE plastic recycling. Hot press machine is a machine that can recycle HDPE plastic waste and has portable features, light weight, smaller size and affordable price. After going through the design stage and making, then the next process is right is important. Testing is done by factorial analysis 23 to know factor factor. (Temperature factor), factor B (heating time) and factor C (opening temperature) to defect. Based on testing,. Factors of significance to flashing defects. Factor A, factor C and factor factor A, B and C significantly significant to warpage defect, while in response Energy consumption, the significant factors are factor A, factor B and interaction factor A and B. Based on this research can be known characteristics of Hot Press.
