Strategi Heuristik untuk Meningkatkan Ketahanmalangan Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Matematika

Algorithmic strategy with constant procedure is implemented in Mathematics instruction in a school with an assumption that Mathematics material is well defined. That condition is considered influencing Mathematics instruction to be less challenging, so it could not improve students' adversity. Otherwise, adversity is really needed in learning and in the real life. Therefore, in this occasion an implementation of heuristic learning strategy is being reviewed with a procedure and material organization which does not follow regular order but still following practical guidance. Classroom action research was chosen as an approach and ended in the third cycle. The research result showed that the students' adversity improved in Mathematics instruction with heuristic strategy. The students thought that learning with heuristic learning strategy could help them enjoy the lesson. Every step chosen challenged them to seek the next step until they reach the intended solution.
