PENGARUH PELATIHAN LADDER DRILL TERHADAP KECEPATAN DAN KELINCAHAN

Abstract

This research aimed at finding the effect of ladder drill training upon: (1) run speed, and (2) agility. This is an experiment research. This study used one group pre-test-post-test research design. Subject of this research were 30 people. Data collection was conducted by using 30-meters sprint test to measure run speed, and Illinois agility test to measure agility. The data were analyzed through normality test, homogeneity test/F-test, and T-test with 5% of significance level using SPSS version 16.0. The result of research is the effect of ladder drill training on run speed with result of sig = 0,007 and agility with result of sig = 0,000. Based on these result it is concluded that there is a significant influence on ladder drill training on running speed and agility. It is recommended to the coach of futsal that this training model be used as a reference to improve the running speed and the agility oh the players.
