Abstract

The use of manual water tap on the drinking water service system of the village affects the incompatibility of voluntary fund revenues with the volume of water released. The purpose of this study is to develop a system of drinking water service village with automatic solenoid faucet based Radio Frequency Identication (RFID). This research develops open and close control on solenoid faucets automatically with RFID card as customer identity. To limit the taking of drinking water volume by customers then developed a prepaid service system with water pulse system. The results showed that the system was able to identify the customer number correctly at a maximum distance of 10 cm. The solenoid valve opens automatically if the customer number has been registered and the water pulse value is not empty. The system also successfully limits the volume of water out as per customer requirements. When the water pulse value has been exhausted, the system manages to close the faucet automatically.
