LITERASI KEUANGAN PADA MASYARAKAT BANGKALAN MADURA
This study aims to see how the level of literacy in Bangkalan regency and how its influence on the independent variables studied, namely gender, age, education level, and income. The research method used is cluster random sampling method which was conducted on 105 people taken randomly in Bangkalan District. The data used is primary data or by using questionnaires that are directly given to the respondent with incidental sampling technique. Then the data is processed using multiple linear regression method where the result states that Bangkalan society is at the middle-level literacy level (66%) according to the scale used by (Chen & Volpe, 1998). While the independent variable is the result of gender does not affect the financial literacy, age negatively affect the financial literacy, the level of education has a positive effect on financial literacy, and income has a positive effect on financial literacy.
