Analisis Formalin Pada Ikan Layang (Decapterus sp.) di Pasar Tradisional Kota Singaraja Kab. Buleleng
There has been a study on formalin content analysis on fresh fish of Layang fish species (Decapterus sp.) In traditional market of Singaraja (market Banyuasri and market Anyar). The purpose of this study was to look at the possibility of formalin content in the species of fresh Layang (Decapterus sp.) Qualitatively and if the qualitative test is found, it will be followed by quantitative test. The method used for qualitative test using formalin test kit while qualitative test using spectrophotometer with wavelength 520 nm. Samples were analyzed in the Laboratory of Quality Control and Quality of Fishery Products of Bali Province. The results obtained from the sampling of 3 times in each market, showed that there is no formalin content in fresh fish in both traditional markets Singaraja City.
