PENDAMPINGAN MATERI PENGUATAN BIOPSIKOSOSIOSPIRITUAL MELALUI YOGA DAN MEDITASI

Berbagai penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa penerapan yoga dan meditasi di lingkungan sekolah dapat mengurangi kecemasan dan meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa. Latihan yoga secara teratur yang diterapkan dalam lingkungan pendidikan dapat mendorong kesehatan mental yang lebih baik di antara pelajar. Temuan-temuan penelitian tersebut sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah di wilayah Kabupaten Buleleng yang memiliki permasalahan terkait kecemasan dan rendahnya resiliensi akademik sehingga intervensi meditasi dapat berperan sebagai solusi yang aplikatif karena mudah dilaksanakan dan berbiaya rendah. Peserta yang terlibat sebanyak 60 orang guru yang terdiri dari 3( tiga) sekolah mennegah atas di wilayah pariwisata di Kabupaten Buleleng. Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan pemahaman dilakukan tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest). Instrumen tes berupa kuis untuk menghimpun informasi mengenai pemahaman yoga dan meditasi. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada tes awal (60,8) dan tes akhir (89,6) sebesar 28,8. Pada pendampingan ditemukan adanya antusiasme untuk keberlanjutan kegiatan yoga dan meditasi di sekolah - sekolah binaan dan menjadi program rutin setiap sekali seminggu dilakukan yoga dan meditasi bersama.
