STRATEGI PEMASYARAKATAN KERAJINAN TENUN IKAT ENDEK KLUNGKUNG DI PASAR GLOBAL
Abstract
The main objective of this research is how the community strategy of Klungkung Regency responds to this threat through policies and cooperation in the development of endek and songket ikat products. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting interviews and observations in the field and is supported by literature study. The research subjects were artisans, non-governmental organizations, and Educational Institutions of the Ganesha Education University. The results showed that the strategy carried out went well and needed the involvement of other parties such as foundations and Educational Institutions of Ganesha University of Education. Although the development has been carried out, there are still unresolved obstacles, especially in the supply of raw materials from natural plants and in the marketing sector due to the high cost of production that makes the price of ikat weaving expensive.
