PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SAINS UNTUK GURU-GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

A training for Elementary School teacher to develop science learning media has been conducted. This program aims to improve teachers’ skills on developing science learning media and teachers’ understanding on science concepts. The training is conducted in Dapena Elementary School and St. Theresia II Catholic Elementary School, Surabaya. Through this training, teachers are able to make some science learning media on the topics of air, electricity, and energy. After training, teachers gain knowledge on scientific approach learning and science concept related to air, electricity, and energy topics. The teachers perform improvement from pre-test to post-test. There is medium gain of average score from pre and post-test in both schools. Besides, based on the evaluation questioner filled by participants, the program has been implemented very well.
