Abstract

The available clean water facilities in Labak Suren Village are managed by 2 groups: the "Toya Amerta" group in Labak Suren 1 Hamlet and the "Banyu Urip" Group to provide clear water, filtering facilities are needed. Filter by using natural materials such as palm fiber, sand, gravel, coconut shell charcoal and broken bricks. Through this PKM program several stages of activities will be carried out as a solution to the problems faced today, namely: Laboratory testing of water sources, addition of natural screening advice and technical skills training in pipeline installation maintenance. The method of implementing this activity implements Participatory Research Action (PRA), which involves all implementing components with partners / communities in resolving existing problems, agreement in determining the stages of implementation is determined through FGD (Discusion Group Forum). As a result of this filtering, the community can be served with proper clean water. Through training and mentoring, enhancing management understanding and capability as well as technical skills in the management of the clean water group is expected to maintain its sustainability and become an embryo for the formation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES).
