Abstract

Mathematical Olympiad is one tool for developing students' mathematical talents and interests so they can create and innovate according to their potential. Situation analysis shows that the participation and achievements of elementary school students in Cluster VI of Baturiti District in the mathematics competition still need to be increased. The thing that was allegedly the cause was the absence of a mature coaching system in each school in fostering potential students. Teachers are not ready and feel difficulties in coaching because mastery of Olympic materials is weak and feels unable to find and develop materials for coaching. Therefore it is deemed necessary to strengthen mastery of elementary school mathematics olympiad material for teachers. The form of this dedication activity is the 16 Hour training pattern using lecture, question and answer, discussion and practice methods. Activities carried out in 4 stages, namely (1) preparation of material, (2) pre-test, (3) training, and (4) post-test. The percentage of participants who were fully present reached 83% and there has been an increase in mastery of elementary school mathematics Olympiad materials by teachers.
