PKW IN HERITAGE CULTURE AREA IN BLAHBATUH VILLAGE, DISTRICT GIANYAR PROVINCE BALI IN YEAR 2019
The program of the The heritage culture area is a conservation area from historical / prehistoric cultural artifacts which is used as a socio-religious-cultural modality of the local community for tourist attractions. However, this cultural heritage area is still grappling with poverty, exclusivity-tourism, unemployment, not ICT and foreign language literacy, socio-economic-political conflict, low health and education levels for the district of Gianyar. The factual condition of the people in this region, has led Undiksha to collaborate with Bali Stikom and Gianyar Regency Government to carry out PKW (Regional Partnership Program) activities. The method of PKW implementation in community empowerment uses the PALS approach (participatory action learning system). The target of PKW outcomes are: (1) the realization of eco-friendly multicultural agricultural demonstration plots, (2) the realization of diversification of heritage culture tourism products, and (3) the realization of education life skills, local culture, and foreign language skills.
