Inovasi Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter: Studi Kasus di Sekolah Inklusif

Pendidikan karakter menjadi semakin penting karena berbagai fenomena nasional yang terjadi di dalam lembaga pendidikan. Banyak laporan menunjukkan terjadi bullying atau perundungan di lingkungan sekolah, yang mengakibatkan dampak yang signifikan atau bahkan menjadi fatal yang mengarah pada kematian. Meskipun peran pendidikan karaktersangat penting, beberapa sekolah belum cukup memiliki strategi yang jelas dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter. Studi ini berfokus pada analisis praktik baik tentang integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam lingkungan sekolah inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus, dan dilakukan di sebuah sekolah dasar inklusif di Bali Utara. Pengumpulan data berlangsung selama 7 bulan melalui beberapa metode, yaitu observasi, analisis dokumen, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data diolah secara kualitatif, dilengkapi dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa nilai karakter, yang diimplementasikan dalam prosedur siklus yang dirancang untuk siswa untuk siswa, untuk meningkatkan inklusi. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter mampu meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik tentang pentingkan kelas inklusif.
