Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

All articles submitted to the journal must not be published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

1. General Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted to the IConMNS Editorial Team using the Online Submission feature in the IConMNS e-proceedings.

 

2. Writing Template/Guidelines

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template on the official IConMNS website.

 

3. Online Submission Guidelines

Authors should complete the form in as much detail as possible, with fields marked with an asterisk required. Once all fields have been completed, the author should click the "Register" button to proceed. This will take them to the online author submission interface, where they should click "Submit a new manuscript." In the "Start New Submission" section, click "Click Save and Continue" to proceed to the first of the five-step submission process. The five steps in the online submission process are as follows:

  1. Step 1 - Start
    Authors must check all submission requirements regarding the originality and suitability of the manuscript.
  2. Step 2 - Upload the Manuscript
    In this section, authors must upload the manuscript/article that has been adjusted to the Writing Guidelines. The manuscript file must be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format with a maximum size of 2 MB.
  3. Step 3 - Enter Metadata
    At this stage, authors must enter the manuscript's metadata accurately and correctly, including the Title of the Manuscript/Article, adding all contributors (including co-authors), including the abstract, including the foreword, and the list of references.
  4. Step 4 - Confirmation
    Your manuscript has been uploaded and is ready to be submitted. You can still review and correct any missing information before submitting. Once ready, click "Submit Completed Manuscript."
  5. Step 5 - Next Steps After submission 
    the submitting author will receive a confirmation email. Authors can track the status of their submission at any time by logging into the online submission interface. Submission tracking includes the status of the manuscript review and the editorial process.
